Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join a established client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing an assigned portfolio of existing accounts. You will not be expected to make outbound sales calls or cold outreach, but rather focus on nurturing and growing relationships with our current clients. The goal is to ensure client satisfaction, expand their usage of our products/services, and maximise revenue opportunities from your account base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring clients are satisfied, and their needs are being met.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations.
- Growth & Development: Proactively identify opportunities for up selling and cross-selling additional products/services to existing clients.
- Client Retention: Ensure a high level of customer retention by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining regular contact with clients.
- Account Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess the health of each account, tracking key metrics such as usage, satisfaction, and growth potential.
- Strategic Planning: Develop tailored strategies to help each client achieve their goals, ensuring that your portfolio grows in alignment with the company's objectives.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure client's needs are met and any issues are resolved quickly.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management regarding account status, sales opportunities, and any challenges within your portfolio.
- Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for any issues or escalations, resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Contract Renewals: Ensure clients renew their contracts on time and, where possible, negotiate better terms to increase account value.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales, ideally within Audio Visual.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A passion for providing exceptional service and ensuring client success.
- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Able to identify challenges, develop solutions, and resolve issues efficiently.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts and track performance.
- Negotiation Skills: Comfortable discussing pricing and contract renewals with clients.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with colleagues from various departments to meet client needs.
