I am currently working with a small but growing property leasing business to find a Sales Ledger Specialist. The business is specialising in commercial and residential lettings. With a diverse portfolio and a strong client base, they pride themselves on delivering a high-quality, personal service.
They are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Ledger Specialist to join our close-knit team.
- Raise and issue rent and service charge invoices to tenants
- Maintain accurate sales ledger records and tenant accounts
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile accounts
- Monitor aged debt and follow up on overdue payments
- Liaise with tenants regarding billing queries or arrears
- Support the month-end close with reporting and reconciliations
- Assist with updating lease schedules and rent reviews
- Work closely with the property management and finance teams
- Previous experience in a sales ledger / accounts receivable role
- Experience in the property sector is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficient in Excel and basic reporting
- Excellent communication skills for tenant interaction
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
