ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a major player in secure digital transformation and systems integration. Their project teams build innovative and robust digital services that support national interests. Due to a ramp-up in key capability, they are looking for two experienced UI Engineers to join a fast-paced, mission-critical programme.

THE UI ENGINEER ROLE:
As a UI Engineer, you'll be designing and developing highly accessible, scalable user interfaces for mission-critical web applications. You'll work closely with DevOps and backend teams, deploying your solutions via container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes, while ensuring APIs and datastores are seamlessly integrated. You'll also contribute to mentoring and improving team processes.
UI ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
- Integration with REST APIs and backend systems
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL datastores
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
