Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our client, a highly regarded secondary school for girls in Tower Hamlets, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, and is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Job Role Requirements:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum standards
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular performing arts activities
  • Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement

Qualifications & Person Specification:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • A relevant degree in Drama or a related field
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and support pupils of all abilities
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
