Location: Lewisham, South East London

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons

• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

• Contributing to the wider school community and department initiatives

• Inclusive and diverse secondary school with a strong sense of community

• Supportive leadership team and well-resourced English department

• Committed to staff development and student progress

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language

• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)

• Ability to engage, inspire, and challenge students
