English Teacher - SEN School | Long-Term Role | SE27 | Potential to Go Permanent

Location: SE27, South-East London
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract: Long-term (with potential to become permanent for the right candidate)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

We are working closely with a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the SE27 area who are looking for an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the role to become permanent.

About the Role:
You'll be teaching English to students with a range of additional learning needs. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons to support students in developing both their academic skills and confidence. You'll be working alongside a supportive team including SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and therapists.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience in SEN settings - highly desirable (but strong mainstream teachers with a genuine interest in SEN will also be considered)
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Available full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
