The Role

As a General Science Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Support students preparing for combined science GCSE qualifications
• Use diverse teaching methods tailored to different learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Contribute to science extracurricular activities and school initiatives

Person Specification / Requirements

To be successful, you will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching General Science in a UK secondary school
• Be confident delivering the National Curriculum and combined science GCSE syllabus
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
