Are you an inspiring and dedicated Maths Teacher who loves making numbers make sense for young women? We're looking for a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Haringey, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic chance to foster a genuine love for mathematics and develop strong problem-solving skills in our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) in North London.
What you'll be doing:
- You'll be crafting and delivering engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
- It's about expertly guiding students through mathematical concepts, from foundational principles to more complex topics, within a well-structured and rigorous curriculum.
- You'll create a supportive and encouraging classroom where students feel empowered to explore ideas, develop their reasoning, and build real confidence in their abilities.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong specialism in Mathematics.
- Some experience teaching engaging and effective Maths lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- A deep and current understanding of mathematical concepts, plus that knack for making the subject accessible and truly engaging for girls.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a real passion for fostering a positive learning culture.
