Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential in mathematics
- Differentiate teaching to support students of all abilities, including those with SEN and SEMH
- Track and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
- Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Maths department to share best practice and develop schemes of work
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to inclusion, resilience, and supporting student progress
