The Role: Science Teacher
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school offers excellent resources, a collaborative Science department, and plenty of scope for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love of Science
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department
- Play an active role in the wider school community
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
- Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
- A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment in Science
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
