The Role: Science Teacher

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school offers excellent resources, a collaborative Science department, and plenty of scope for professional development.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a love of Science
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department
  • Play an active role in the wider school community


Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
  • Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
  • A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment in Science
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
