Dates:

September 2025 with the view to be offered a permanent contract for the right teacher!

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

To be considered you MUST have an enhanced DBS in place.

Job Description:

- This role will be to start from September 2025

- Must be able to commit to a full-time post.

- The ideal teacher will need to be a science specialist.

- This role will be to teach KS3 and KS4 Sciences

Post Title: Secondary Teacher of Science with QTS

Requirements:

- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Must be reliable and fully committed to the role and intended students.

- Must be available to start work full-time from September 25.

- Long-term position with the view to secure a permanent post.

- Must have at least 6 months UK teaching experience teaching secondary students and previous experience either teaching or supporting students with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

Person Spec:

- Must have experience teaching UK curriculum Science syllabus to secondary students from KS3 upwards.

- Able to deliver KS3 Science and upwards.

- A proven track record of implementing effective strategies to include and meet the needs of all students to raise achievement.

- High quality teaching Science to pupils of all abilities

- Must be well organised.

- Develop and understanding of developments in the UK National Curriculum.

- Effective strategies for supporting staff to improve teaching and learning.

- Understanding of different social backgrounds of pupils.

- To monitor the overall development of students as a qualified secondary teacher and their personal and academic growth.

- You will have continued staff development within the role.

- Must be able to motivate students and raise aspirations.
