Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive special school in Chiswick. The school provides high-quality education for students with MLD and has a strong reputation for its inclusive, nurturing environment where every learner is supported to succeed.
The Role:
- Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with MLD
- Working closely with experienced teaching assistants and the wider SEN team
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering independence in learners
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEN, ideally MLD
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- A creative, patient, and resilient teaching approach
- Commitment to inclusive education and helping learners reach their full potential
