Our client is seeking a Day Concierge at a luxury residential building in South East London.

4on 4off, 07:00am - 19:00pm

Main Duties:

  • You will cover the main desk and will provide the highest level of customer care and service.
  • You will deal effectively with enquiries, queries and complaints whilst remaining courteous at all times in person or via the telephone.
  • You will complete regular building checks on site during your shift, you will make sure the building is safe and secure at all times. Making regular patrols of the communal areas i.e. Lounge, making sure all residents adhere to the house rules making sure they clean up after themselves. If residents are becoming a nuisance or are causing damage to any part of the communal areas, staff are to take their room number and ask them to leave the communal area at once. All activities in this area are to be monitored closely, and any events and parties are to be booked one week in advance.
  • You proactively deal with any cleaning/litter problems identified within the building.
  • You will report any security/health and safety issues, incidents and complaints to the Development Manager or Senior Property Manager taking appropriate action immediately in the event of an emergency.
  • Monitor CCTV whilst in the office.
  • Making sure bikes are stored in the allocated area and that any unattended are issued with a warning.
  • Check and screen all visitors, guests and contracted staff, getting them to sign in on arrival. If you suspect that they have no right of access report any suspicious behaviour to the Police if necessary.
  • Co-ordinate, instruct and allow access for services to the building, i.e. Repairs and maintenance, utility companies etc.
  • Take responsibility for all deliveries to the main office, receiving, safekeeping and issuing of all parcel/post in line with company procedure.
  • Issuing the handling of keys only to the correct personnel/residents whilst recording at all times in line with company procedure.

Necessary Attributes:

  • You will have fantastic customer service skills making sure you are polite and courteous at all times to visitors, residents and guests.
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, making sure all information is passed on in a timely and professional manner.
  • Making sure all information is logged correctly, timed, dated and signed and if handwritten that it is legible to read.
  • Staff must be able to prioritise their workload and use their own initiative.
  • Staff must have the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations whilst keeping calm and patient.
  • The candidate must be honest, reliable and punctual and be accountable for their actions.
