An established and forward-thinking consultancy is seeking a competent Fire Safety Manager to join their specialist fire division.
This is a critical opportunity for a Fire Safety Manager looking to contribute to a wide range of public and private sector projects across London and the South East.
The Fire Safety Manager's Role
The successful Fire Safety Manager will be responsible for delivering expert fire safety advice across new builds, refurbishments, and occupied buildings. The role will involve carrying out fire risk assessments (Type 1-4), writing fire strategy reports, and providing ongoing client consultancy to ensure fire safety compliance under current legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Building Safety Act.
This Fire Safety Manager position offers the chance to work closely with architects, building control, and project management teams, ensuring high fire safety standards are maintained from concept through to occupation.
The Fire Safety Manager Will Have
Level 4 Fire Risk Assessor qualification (or working towards)
NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of fire safety legislation and codes (PAS 79, BS 9991/9999)
Experience with residential, commercial, or public buildings
Excellent report-writing and client-facing skills
Ideally a member of the IFE or IFSM
