BDS are currently working with a well established social justice charity who are currently recruiting for a Housing Resettlement Worker based in Wandsworth.
The service is to add value to the current resettlement provision and work closely with the housing team to ensure established clear pathways into ongoing support upon release from prison.
Key responsibilities;
Engage with referral agencies in order to generate referrals for the service as required.
Carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual service user
Design and deliver an effective programme and support plan with the service
Maintain contact on a regular basis with service users in accordance with the requirements of the service
Promote the benefits of gaining qualifications and skills and the extent to which this may assist service users in their training and search for employment
The ideal candidate will have experience working with ex-offenders and/or homeless, within a resttlement or support role.
The successful candidate will be required to have a Full Enhanced DBS Certificate dated in the previous 12 months or on the updates service and a full uk driving licenec, with access to their own vehicle.
payrate; £15.13 PAYE or £19.97 Umbrella
This role is to cover 32 hours a week, initially temp ongoing to start asap.
