About the Role:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for a passionate and skilled Adult Social Worker to join our Preparation for Adulthood team. This role focuses on supporting young people with disabilities or complex needs as they prepare for the transition to adult life. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate a smooth and successful transition.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate risks to vulnerable adults, including physical, emotional, and financial abuse. You will create and implement safeguarding plans to protect vulnerable adults from harm and ensure their safety. Additionally, you will investigate reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, working closely with other professionals and agencies. It is essential to ensure all actions and interventions comply with legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality and consent.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, have at least 2 years of post-qualified experience in social work, and possess a driving licence and car, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
