We are looking for an Assistant Housing Gateway Officer to join our team in South London.

About the Role

As an Assistant Housing Gateway Officer, you will be the first point of contact for individuals facing homelessness or housing difficulties. You will provide advice, support, and practical solutions, ensuring individuals receive the help they need.

Key Responsibilities:Conduct face-to-face homeless assessments and process referralsProvide housing advice, assistance, and support to prevent homelessnessMaintain Personalised Housing Plans and update records accuratelySupport vulnerable individuals in accessing housing solutionsAssist customers with online housing applications and bidding systemsDeliver a professional and empathetic customer service experience

Job Details36 hours per weekTraining: 5 days in-office, then hybrid once comfortableDBS: Basic DBS check required
