  • To manage, motivate and develop a team of social workers, social work officers and review officer’s managers so that performance standards and outcomes are met in ways that demonstrate Haringey Values
Generic Team Manager Responsibilities Service Delivery, Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Set team priorities, allocate work and be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient services to service users and stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for implementation of planned and approved service innovations, continuous improvement in quality and efficiency of operations.
  • Review, make recommendations for improvement and follow through to implement changes and benefits.
  • Undertake performance management, quality assurance and act on inadequate performance, as appropriate.
  • Provide advice and support in relation to complex cases.
Safeguarding
  • Ensure that staff have a good understanding and awareness of Haringey Council’s policies and procedures for safeguarding children, vulnerable adults and people affect by domestic violence.
