- To manage, motivate and develop a team of social workers, social work officers and review officer’s managers so that performance standards and outcomes are met in ways that demonstrate Haringey Values
- Set team priorities, allocate work and be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient services to service users and stakeholders.
- Be accountable for implementation of planned and approved service innovations, continuous improvement in quality and efficiency of operations.
- Review, make recommendations for improvement and follow through to implement changes and benefits.
- Undertake performance management, quality assurance and act on inadequate performance, as appropriate.
- Provide advice and support in relation to complex cases.
- Ensure that staff have a good understanding and awareness of Haringey Council’s policies and procedures for safeguarding children, vulnerable adults and people affect by domestic violence.
