Neighbourhood ManagerCamdenFull TimeTemporaryA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Neighbourhood Manager to join an authority in Camden on an interim basis, supporting the delivery of proactive, resident-focused housing services across the borough. THE ROLEAs Neighbourhood Services Manager, you will lead a geographically dispersed team of Neighbourhood Housing Officers, ensuring housing management services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and with residents at the heart of decision-making.
  • Manage and support a team of Neighbourhood Housing Officers across Camden’s estates
  • Act as a role model for Camden’s values, driving a culture of respect, collaboration and inclusion
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of housing management services in line with policy and resident needs
  • Promote early intervention and proactive support to prevent tenancy issues and promote community wellbeing
  • Collaborate with other housing teams and departments using data insights to improve service delivery
  • Represent Camden externally, building relationships with stakeholders including TRAs, MPs, and partner agencies
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, health & safety protocols, and safeguarding responsibilities
THE CANDIDATETo be successful in this role, you must have experience in a similar housing leadership role, ideally within a Local Authority or social housing setting, with a proven ability to lead teams and improve service outcomes for residents.
  • Strong understanding of tenancy and estate management best practice
  • Confident managing staff performance, developing talent, and leading dispersed teams
  • Demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice
  • Skilled in using housing and property management systems and data analysis
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve shared goals
