Long Term Futures is working in partnership with a warm, well-established private nursery in Walthamstow seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. This long-term role is ideal for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years professional who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5.
You will deliver engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYFS framework, support children's developmental milestones, and build strong relationships with families and colleagues. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, play-based learning for children aged 0-5
Plan, lead and evaluate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Carry out observations, assessments and developmental tracking
Support children's early communication, social and physical development
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and parents
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Assist with daily routines, safeguarding practices and behaviour expectations
Essential Requirements
Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
Experience working with children in a nursery, preschool or Early Years setting
Strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles
Warm, positive and nurturing approach to learning and care
Ability to plan creative, stimulating activities that support developmental outcomes
Confident in carrying out observations and contributing to learning journals
