Connect2Socialwork are supporting Hackney Council to recruit children in need social workers.
Hackney is a vibrant diverse Borough to work in with excellent public transport links. Hackney offers a supportive and friendly environment to work in with a focus on regular supervision, both individual and group. Agency workers can access in-house training and caseloads are manageable. The Children in Need service is an area to develop your practice and Court work is allocated depending on your level of experience. We currently work to a hybrid model of working with a minimum expectation of 2 days in the office so you can feel and be part of your team. There are also options to go permanent. We are committed to anti racist practice and trauma informed systemic practice underpins all the work that we do.
Requirements as a Social Worker include:
- SWE Registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Drive and have access to a car
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
