About the Role

Academics are working closely with a fantastic Primary School in Westminster who are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery team, supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with children identified as having Special Educational Needs, including speech and language delays, autism spectrum condition (ASC), and social, emotional or communication difficulties.

  • Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and work closely with the SENDCo, class teacher, and external specialists (e.g. speech and language therapists or educational psychologists).

  • Adapt learning materials and activities to make lessons accessible and engaging for all pupils.

  • Encourage independence, resilience, and confidence in every child you support.

This position will see you become an integral part of a warm, supportive EYFS team who share a commitment to inclusive education and child-centred practice.
