The Opportunity:

Long Term Futures are seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced all-through school (Primary to Secondary) in Haringey. This long-term to permanent role is ideal for someone with proven experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across different age ranges. You will be working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to provide consistent, high-quality support that helps pupils achieve both academically and socially.



Your Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs
* Support pupils across primary and secondary phases as required
* Implement personalised strategies in line with EHCP targets and support plans
* Assist with behavioural, emotional, and social development
* Help create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and support staff
* Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and feedback discussions



Requirements:

* Previous experience working with pupils with SEND - Essential
* Experience supporting needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, and learning difficulties
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to pupil support
* Commitment to inclusive education and long-term progression
* Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
