The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have:
- Previous Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Insight into specialist interventions and strategies, including Makaton.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and therapeutic support strategies.
- A passion for supporting students with complex needs in education and training settings.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff
- Have a valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Have a relevent degree e.g Psychology
