About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team across both our primary and secondary phases. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN).

As a key member of our staff, you will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teachers to support the learning, progress, and wellbeing of pupils with SEN.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and independence skills.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
  • A good communicator and team player.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the needs of pupils across different age ranges.
  • Ideally experienced in working with SEN pupils (though training will be provided).

Relevant qualifications (such as CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
