A welcoming primary school in Camden is looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SEN or youth work experience who is committed to making a real difference.
The Role:
Support children with SEMH both in a small provision and in the mainstream classroom
Help pupils develop strategies for emotional regulation, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
Provide consistent, nurturing support to remove barriers to learning
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral teams
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience with SEMH, behaviour, or vulnerable young people
Calm, patient, and resilient with a positive approach
Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Passionate about inclusive education and supporting every child
