Academics is proud to be working with a warm, inclusive primary school in Wandsworth, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you'll play a key role in helping every child feel supported.
Role Overview:
Location: Primary School, Wandsworth
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Salary: 95-105 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised 1:1 support for a child with SEN, such as Autism and ADHD
Promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning strategies
Help create a nurturing, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and support pupil progress
About You:
Experience supporting children with SEN (school-based experience desirable)
A passionate and committed Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, proactive, and compassionate in your approach
