Teaching Assistant - Primary & SEN Support
Location: North London
Pay: 95 - 115 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Remedy Education are looking for a enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development and wants to make a positive impact in the classroom.

You will be supporting pupils across the school, helping to deliver engaging lessons, providing one-to-one and small-group support, and ensuring every child feels confident, included and able to achieve their best.



The role:

  • Support the class teacher with daily lesson delivery and classroom routines

  • Work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis

  • Assist with learning activities, interventions and personalised support

  • Help maintain a positive, productive and inclusive learning environment

  • Encourage pupil engagement, independence and confidence

  • Support with behaviour, communication and general classroom management



The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar environment

  • Confident, proactive and able to build positive relationships with pupils

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Patient, calm and supportive in busy classroom settings

  • A genuine passion for helping children learn

  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS
