A fantastic two-form entry primary school in Harrow is seeking a highly committed Specialist Teaching Assistant to join its Alternative Resource Provision (ARP). The ARP supports a small group of primary-aged pupils with a range of moderate learning difficulties (MLD), including global developmental delay, autism, ADHD, and associated needs. You will work as part of a small, skilled team delivering structured, tailored support to help children access learning and make meaningful progress.

Role Overview
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with MLD, autism, ADHD, and global delay
* Assist children in accessing the curriculum, developing routines, and building independence
* Implement individual strategies and interventions designed by the ARP Lead and SENCO
* Establish positive, trusting relationships to enhance engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
* Support the creation of a calm, structured, and enabling learning environment
* Contribute to daily ARP routines and ensure high-quality provision throughout the day

Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEND, ideally MLD or autism
* Superb work ethic and a consistently positive attitude
* Ability to remain patient, calm, and solution-focused
* Strong communication skills and confidence working within a small, specialist team
* Background in education, SEND support, or related fields is desirable

Role Details
Hours: 8:20am - 3:45pm, Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: 95-100 per day
Start: January (until at least July and possibly permanent after that)
