An inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a confident SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with ADHD and associated behavioural needs. This role is ideal for someone resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role:
Provide tailored support in class and during transitions
Use positive behaviour strategies to manage challenges
Support both academic progress and emotional well-being
Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
Calm, proactive, and adaptable approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine commitment to inclusive education
