Long Term Futures is seeking an experienced and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary provision in Haringey. This is a diverse and rewarding role supporting two pupils in Year 4 - one child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and limited verbal communication, and another pupil with ASD and trauma-related emotional needs - as well as providing whole-class SEN support.

  • Calm, adaptable and resilient - a genuine "jack of all trades" who can support wherever needed.
  • Confident managing behaviour and responding flexibly to changing classroom dynamics.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed and communication-supportive approaches.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a real passion for inclusion.
