Aspire are working with a number of supportive and inclusive schools across East London who are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support teaching and learning across a range of year groups.** This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education to make a meaningful impact in both classroom and small group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals or groups under the direction of teaching staff.
* Cover classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring high-quality learning continues.
* Provide targeted academic support to pupils, including those with SEND or EAL needs.
* Assist with the development of individual education plans and contribute to pupil assessments.
* Support behaviour management strategies and help maintain a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning materials and resources.
* Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.

### Requirements:

* HLTA qualification or relevant Level 4 qualification.
* Proven experience working in a school environment, ideally across different key stages.
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Confidence to lead whole-class learning and manage pupil behaviour effectively.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable:

* Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Knowledge of phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds.
* Training in safeguarding, first aid, or other relevant CPD.
