An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Haringey is looking to appoint a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join its successful and well-established Languages department from September 2025. The Role – MFL Teacher

  • Deliver inspiring MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with specialisms in French and/or Spanish welcome.
  • Develop schemes of learning that challenge, support, and engage all learners, tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Encourage curiosity and cross-cultural understanding through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Monitor progress through effective assessment and provide meaningful feedback to support student development, ensuring inclusive education for all students.
  • Participate in departmental planning and collaborate with colleagues to share best practice.
  • Offer or support extracurricular language initiatives such as clubs, exchanges, or trips.
  • Play an active role in the wider school community and contribute to its inclusive ethos.

Who We’re Looking For – MFL Teacher

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or in the process of gaining it) and a subject specialism in MFL.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum content and strategies to support learners of all abilities.
  • An enthusiastic and reflective teacher who brings fresh ideas and a student-centred approach.
  • A clear communicator with strong classroom presence and behaviour management.
  • Someone who shares the school’s values of equity, ambition, and collaboration.
  • Willingness to engage in wider school life and ongoing professional learning.
  • ECTs are welcome and will receive excellent induction and mentorship support.
