Key responsibilities include:
•   Delivering engaging and accessible learning experiences across a broad curriculum.
•   Leading a team of learning support assistants within a small class setting.
•   Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for every pupil.

The Ideal Candidate – SEN Teacher
The successful applicant will be a reflective and resilient teacher with a genuine passion for working with autistic learners and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education. They will demonstrate strong classroom practice, creativity, and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
•   Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching within a primary or special school setting.
•   A proven ability to plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons that meet the varied needs of learners with autism and complex communication needs.
•   A solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, with practical experience of contributing to EHCPs, conducting assessments, and adapting learning plans accordingly.
•   Strong communication skills and the emotional intelligence to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and with parents/carers.
•   Experience of leading or managing support staff to ensure effective collaboration and pupil support in the classroom.
•   A creative, flexible approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a dynamic school environment.
•   A commitment to their own professional development and the desire to contribute to the wider school community.
