About the role
We are currently looking for teachers for both the upper and lower sites of this special school. They provide education from early years to post 16 for students with complex special educational needs. You will be teaching students with needs including Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech and Language needs and some physical disabilities. You will be working in classes of approximately 12 students, supported by at least 2 support assistants. This role is only suitable for Fully Qualified Teachers who have experience working with students with SEN needs and are available on a full-time basis.

This is a large Special School in Lewisham. They cater to students with an EHCP statement of SEN and are one of the most comprehensive schools in the country. They cater to students aged 3-18 and have classes from Nursery to Post 16. The school is less than a 5 minute walk from Swiss Cottage station and is accessible by London underground routes and bus routes.
