Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist Primary SEMH School in Hillingdon, which is seeking a committed and experienced Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team in September.

The RoleAs a Primary Teacher within this SEMH setting, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to pupils with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs. Your role will be to foster a supportive, structured, and consistent classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning. Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders, you will help each pupil achieve both personal and academic progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs or within an alternative provision (desirable but not essential)

  • A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and behaviour regulation

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A patient, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching
