Description

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement processes within the organisation.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.

  • Undertake large sourcing projects.
  • Oversee the procurement & supply chain department's budget and spending.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and company procurement standards and regulations.
  • Identify and manage risks within the procurement & supply chain process.
  • IT procurement experience is key due to the nature of the business.
  • Monitor market trends and make procurement recommendations based on these insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the procurement & supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Procurement Specialist should have:

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Procurement or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement and supplier relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in project procurement and large sourcing projects.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior IT procurement experience.
  • A good understanding of procurement software and tools.
  • An ability to work well in a team and to lead and motivate others.
