About the Role

As a Senior Digital Construction Manager, you'll lead the delivery of digital and information management across the project lifecycle. You'll work closely with project teams and clients to define standards, manage digital workflows within the Common Data Environment (CDE), and ensure successful handover of information models.

The Project

Be part of a ground-breaking development - a world-first centre that will accelerate the translation of pioneering research into life-changing treatments. The facility will bring together researchers, clinicians, and patients in one collaborative space, including:

  • Seven floors of labs, consultation rooms, and shared workspaces
  • A state-of-the-art MRI suite with five scanners
  • A 220-seat lecture theatre
  • Advanced core labs for microscopy, transcriptomics, and tissue processing

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM and digital delivery across all project stages
  • Develop BIM Execution Plans and client handover strategies
  • Maintain alignment with ISO 19650 standards and security protocols
  • Oversee the production of Information Requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, EIR)
  • Create and manage project information models (up to RIBA Stage 3)
  • Evaluate technologies and improve BIM workflows
  • Support CDE governance, assurance, and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with teams on carbon reduction and net zero strategies
  • Deliver internal training and support knowledge sharing
  • Conduct interviews and recruit for BIM roles
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums

Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, BS 1192), IFC, COBie, and classification systems
  • Proficiency in Autodesk tools (cloud and desktop), content management systems, and data visualisation platforms
  • Experience managing CDEs and digital delivery at a senior level
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
  • Level 6 qualification (e.g., Bachelor's degree, NVQ Level 6, or equivalent)

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with GIS tools and Adobe Suite
  • Postgraduate qualification (Level 7) such as MSc or MEng
  • Commitment to inclusive design and sustainable construction practices
