Hours: Monday - Friday + overtime

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor with a strong electrical background to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who can inspire and guide a team of engineers to deliver outstanding service and maintain the highest standards across our client sites.

The Role:

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of our maintenance teams, with a particular focus on electrical systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and Mentoring: Supervising, motivating, and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring high levels of performance, technical competency, and adherence to company standards.
  • Operational Management: Planning, scheduling, and allocating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and timely completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing hands-on electrical fault-finding, repair, and maintenance support for a wide range of building services equipment (e.g., lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, emergency lighting, access control, BMS controls).
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards, in compliance with statutory regulations, industry best practices, and client specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all work is performed safely and responsibly.
  • Client Liaison: Acting as a key point of contact for clients on site, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Administration: Maintaining accurate records, completing necessary documentation, and providing regular reports on team performance and site issues.
  • Subcontractor Management: Overseeing and coordinating specialist subcontractors where required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Electrically Qualified: Hold relevant electrical qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent required)
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a qualified electrical engineer within a building services or facilities management environment.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role, managing and guiding a team of maintenance engineers.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong fault-finding skills across a broad range of M&E plant and equipment.
  • Health & Safety Conscious: Sound understanding of H&S regulations (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH desirable).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with engineers, clients, and management.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with strong planning and scheduling abilities.
  • IT Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
