The Role - Year 5 Teacher

As the school's new Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Provide emotional and pastoral support while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.

  • Create a classroom environment that balances high expectations with a nurturing ethos.

  • Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and parents to support pupils' individual needs.

The School is Looking for a Year 5 Teacher Who:

  • Has proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred).

  • Is committed to building strong, trusting relationships with pupils.

  • Is resilient, adaptable, and proactive in their approach.

  • Is not an ECT - this role requires a teacher with experience in challenging settings.
