Embrace Multi Academy Trust is a growing and inclusive Church majority MAT comprised of ten schools based in Leicestershire. The Trust recognises and supports the individual ethos of non-faith schools and is made up of seven Church of England primary schools, one community primary school and two Church of England secondary schools. Established in 2019, the Trust is a family of schools each with a special purpose and unique identity, but with a shared mission, vision, and sense of responsibility for each other. We are seeking to appoint a new Trust Leader/CEO to provide the strategic leadership that will sustain, develop, and grow the Trust, improving the life chances of all its children and young people.

Core values of Compassion, Respect, Inclusivity, Wisdom, Collaboration, and Integrity underpin everything the Trust does. We believe in the power of community and the importance of working closely with parents, carers, staff, pupils, and wider stakeholders to ensure our schools reflect and serve the communities they represent. The new Trust Leader must uphold and actively support these values through their leadership, ensuring the vision, values, and ethos are at the heart of everything the Trust does.

This is an outstanding opportunity for the new Trust Leader to lead a high performing and talented executive leadership team, including the Central Team and Headteachers, who are committed to driving innovation in education and to ensuring the Trust is recognised as a beacon of excellence, locally and nationally. We are committed to wellbeing and providing high-quality professional development and training opportunities, which are key to professional growth and improving outcomes for children and young people.

The Trust is at an exciting stage in its development, with a collective determination that all our schools should perform well, and a commitment to further growth through collaboration with others who share its mission, vision and values. If you are an ambitious leader with the ability to plan strategically and translate that into effective operational practice, then this is an outstanding opportunity to lead the future development of the Trust.

The successful candidate must be an inspirational and aspirational systems leader with a track record of successful school improvement. You will be an agile thinker, able to convey confidence, common sense and positivity, alongside the ability to act with honesty, professionalism and integrity. You will value innovation and research led development and be an outstanding leader of people who can drive the Trust forward with your energy, passion for excellence, promotion of best practices, and the courage to challenge. You will be instrumental in developing partnerships with other local trusts, LAs, and relevant stakeholders to enhance provision and support the work of the schools. Most importantly, you must be committed to the educational vision and values of the Trust and be passionate about improving pupils’ life chances through the provision of the highest quality of education.
