Charnwood Borough Council in Loughborough are looking for an experienced Property and Building Condition Surveyor to join them on a fixed term contract.
The position is to complete property and stock surveys on all council property assets including occupied dwellings, void dwellings, commercial buildings, garages, communal areas and public spaces.
You will conduct building and asset conditions, stock, HHSRS surveys and audits as required by the council.Ensuring the results are accurately recorded.
You will also be responsible for the delivery of the survey programmes. Produce schedules of work to be completed and take responsibility for ensuring work is completed on time.
The position is a fixed term for 12 months with a possible 6-month extension.
Must have a clean licence and access to own car as lots of traveling will be required.
A enhanced DBS is also required
Previous experience or similar is essential together with knowledge of building regulations.
Hours of work: 37 per week, but you may be required to work out of hours.
