We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee reactive repairs and maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality services to housing providers across Loughton and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage reactive repair contracts across a portfolio of social housing properties.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Manage and support site managers, supervisors, and trade operatives.
Monitor KPIs, client satisfaction, and compliance with health & safety.
Liaise with clients, residents, and subcontractors to ensure excellent service delivery.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or similar role) within social housing or reactive maintenance.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and teams.
Knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and industry standards.
Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
Full UK driving licence.
