Are you a skilled Production Operative with experience in a manufacturing environment? We're looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our busy team in Louth. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract with a high likelihood of extension, covering a long-term absence.
This role is ideal for someone with strong machine operation skills who is comfortable working a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.
Location: Louth, Grimsby Road
Rate: 13.50 per hour
Contract: 3 months (with likely extension)
Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off (two 12-hour days, two 12-hour nights)
Hours: Average of 42 hours per week (paid breaks included)
Your Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure efficiency.
Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to BRC regulations.
Report maintenance issues using the internal SAP system.
Monitor product quality to ensure it meets our standards.
Work with your team to support continuous improvement.
Complete all required training and safety documentation.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Prior experience operating machinery in a production or packaging environment.
Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating day and night shift pattern.
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
Strong communication skills and basic IT knowledge.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
A proactive, safety-conscious team player.
Desirable Requirements:
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Experience in a fast-paced, BRC-accredited manufacturing environment.
