Role Overview:

They are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer Turner with expertise in Fanuc programming to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.(Programming not essential, happy to train)
• Manufacturing precision components from various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and plastics.
• Conducting first-off inspections using precision measuring tools such as verniers, thread gauges, and micrometers.
• Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to tight tolerances.
• Managing prototype and batch production efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Turnerin a precision engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and ability to program from scratch.
• Experience working with CNC lathes.
• Ability to set up and reset machines multiple times per day.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
• A proactive and reliable work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple machines simultaneously.

Working Hours:

• Day Shift
• Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm.(Overtime available)
• 28 days holiday which includes bank holidays
