Commercial Property Solicitor – Luton – Legal 500 Law Firm

 The Opportunity

A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Bedfordshire is looking to strengthen its busy Commercial Property team with the hire of an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor.

Based in the firm’s modern Luton office, this is a standout opportunity for a solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE to join a growing, supportive team working on a broad mix of high-quality commercial property matters, with exposure to both regional and national clients.

 Role Responsibilities

 Your caseload will cover a range of matters including:

  • Landlord and Tenant matters – leases, renewals, assignments, surrenders
  • Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases
  • Commercial lending and refinancing
  • Drafting and negotiating Deeds of Easement, Licences and Agreements
  • Working on land acquisition and development projects (desirable but not essential)
  • Advising on option agreements, conditional contracts and Section 106 agreements
  • Liaising with clients, agents and lenders to manage transactions from instruction through to post-completion

? What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 4 years’ PQE in Commercial Property law
  • Strong technical ability across a full range of commercial property transactions
  • Comfortable running a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills
  • Competent with case management systems and Microsoft Office

Experience in land acquisition for residential or commercial development and development finance would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
