Role: Warehouse Line Manager
Location: Luton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Warehouse Line Manager to join a well-established client based in Luton
Duties of a Warehouse Line Manager:
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives
- Allocate tasks, manage schedules, and monitor productivity
- Maintain high health & safety standards, including 5S practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles
- Communicate effectively across departments and management levels
- Train and develop team members, including performance reviews
- Resolve operational issues related to orders, logistics, or quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Provide performance reports through the tiered reporting system
What we would like from you:
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in lean processes and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Resilient, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
- Automation experience is a strong advantage
