Role: Warehouse Line Manager

Location: Luton

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Warehouse Line Manager to join a well-established client based in Luton

Duties of a Warehouse Line Manager:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse operatives
  • Allocate tasks, manage schedules, and monitor productivity
  • Maintain high health & safety standards, including 5S practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles
  • Communicate effectively across departments and management levels
  • Train and develop team members, including performance reviews
  • Resolve operational issues related to orders, logistics, or quality
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Provide performance reports through the tiered reporting system

What we would like from you:

  • Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in lean processes and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Resilient, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused
  • Automation experience is a strong advantage
