We're working with a leading civil engineering contractor who is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take a pivotal role on a high-profile Water Reservoir scheme in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected business delivering essential infrastructure that supports local communities.



Your Role:

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all on-site activity, ensuring the smooth and safe delivery of works in line with programme and quality expectations. This includes:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring H&S compliance

  • Coordinating teams of direct labour and subcontractors to meet key milestones

  • Liaising with engineers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to maintain project flow

  • Maintaining high standards across environmental, safety, and client requirements



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven background in managing water infrastructure projects - reservoir builds, large-scale pipelines, or treatment works

  • Previous experience with Thames Water, Anglian Water, or Affinity Water is highly desirable

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach

  • Essential tickets: SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid

  • Desirable: EUSR / Water Hygiene card
