A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Luton is seeking a Lead Music Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time position with a TLR available, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the Music department.
About the Role:-
Lead the Music department, driving forward an ambitious and creative curriculum

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS3-KS4, with potential for KS5

Support and inspire students through extracurricular opportunities including choirs, ensembles, and school productions

Work closely with SLT and other department leads to raise the profile of Music in the school

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Music education

Experience teaching Music across secondary key stages

Proven leadership or aspiring leadership experience within a school setting

Passionate about engaging students in music and the arts

Committed to raising attainment and developing inclusive, exciting learning environments
